Welcome To The Hardware Conference
The Hardware Conference began in 1988 with a small group of hardware retailers who wanted to get together once a year with key manufacturers. This small group continued to expand and in 1995 The Hardware Conference became the largest annual dealer event in the Southeastern United States and has continued to grow each year. In 2008, The Conference celebrated its twentieth anniversary. The Hardware Conference is held each year at the Marco Island Marriott in Marco Island, Florida.

"While the Conference is not a "buying market", I've found that being able to spend time talking with vendors and other store owners does influence my buying decisions. Over the past few years we've either added or increased our line from vendors such as Professional Tool Mfg., Shop Vac, Krylon, Protective Coatings and C. H. Hanson as a direct result of the relationships formed at The Hardware Conference. I usually equate "relaxing" with spending money and "profitable" with work. The two don't normally go together but, somehow, you have been able to provide a relaxing and profiable weekend."
